What is Company radar?

Company radar is an engaging and interactive process method that helps identifying and prioritising actions in accordance with the Work Ability House frame of reference for developing wellbeing at work. The Company radar is developed for the Good Work – Longer Career project which brings together both employee- and employer organizations from the Finnish Technology industry. The Company radar is based on the Metal Age® method but differs from it by the Work Ability House reference frame and the pre-chosen development areas. While the Company radar results in development actions on organizational level, the Metal Age® method focuses on the individual teams and their unique needs when planning actions for developing wellbeing at work.

In a bigger organization the process of developing wellbeing at work can be launched using the Company radar method. With the Company radar method a project group consisting of representatives from the organization creates organizational level changes that improves wellbeing at work.

The Company radar project group includes representatives from all personnel groups, including occupational safety and occupational healthcare. It is important that also top management is represented. After completing the Company radar the focus shifts from organizational level to team level and the Metal Age® method. Combining these two methods emphasizes the engagement of top management and brings the whole organization working together for developing the wellbeing at work.
